Housing Application


To be considered for an apartment in a housing development, a completed application must be submitted to the East Hartford Housing Authority. On the application, it is required for applicants to provide information regarding total household income, family composition, and current living situation.

The East Hartford Housing Authority will not deny any individual or family the opportunity to apply for housing assistance on account of race, color, sex, gender identify, religion, creed, national or ethnic origin, age, family or marital status, handicap, or disability.

Applications are only available when a waiting list is open.

IMPORTANT: No payment or fee should be given to anyone in connection with the preparation, filing or processing of an application for Public Housing.
